Raikküla Manor
Welcome to Raikküla Manor, the cradle of Estonian statehood and democracy!
Here you will find a magnificent classicist manor ensemble of high architectural value, with a total of 14 historic buildings preserved.
Raikküla Manor is the most representative heritage site in Raplamaa and has been associated with many world-famous people in its history, most notably Otto von Bismarck, Chancellor of the German Empire, Charles Darwin, the natural scientist, and Johann Sebastian Bach, the composer. Here you will find a wonderful English-style park, one of Estonia's most magnificent classical-style manor houses with impressive outbuildings, and the first rockery in our country. Be sure to also look out for the landscape installation, which tells the story of the parliament of Ancient Estonia that met here 800 years ago.
Today, Raikküla Manor House can be rented for weddings, birthdays, reunions and other special events. The large hall of the manor house is ideal for events for up to 80 people, where visitors can sit on authentic antique manor chairs and take a journey back to the former glory of our manors!
Raikküla Manor offers interesting restoration training courses and is home to the Estonian Manors Museum with its permanent exhibition of Estonian manors furniture.
